What the licence guarantees you
A real key, signed for you
Every licence is minted by our own licensing service and signed with that product's own key. The application checks the signature itself, on your machine, at every start — no relay, nothing to expire quietly.
Paid once, not monthly
A seat for a term, or for life where a product is sold that way. There is no subscription, no renewal, and no account you have to keep alive for the software to open.
Works offline after activation
One trip to the internet on first run. After that it reads its own signed licence from your disk and asks us nothing — so it still works on a locked-down laptop, or in a room with no connection.
Move it between computers yourself
Deactivate the machine you are leaving and activate the one you are moving to. No limit on transfers and no need to ask us for permission.
Your credentials never reach us
Saved passwords and keys are encrypted on your own disk. The browser version holds them for the length of your session and then erases them. We cannot read them, which is why we cannot lose them.
Lose the key and you can get it back
Keys are re-sent to the address that bought them, after a one-time code and a check by a person. That last step is deliberate: it is what stops somebody else asking for your licence.
